Salem Academy Charter Navigator (Salem, MA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals (South Hamilton, MA), 75-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Salem Academy Charter upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Navigator travel to Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Bishop Fenwick lost 67-49 in their recent non-league bout against Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA)

Next up, the Generals play the Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School Hawks (Hathorne, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Hamilton-Wenham Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 63-33 non-league loss to Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA).
