Kutztown Cougars (Kutztown, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tulpehocken Trojans (Bernville, PA), 54-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kutztown upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Cougars host Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-1.

Next up, the Trojans play the Northern Lebanon Vikings (Fredericksburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Tulpehocken will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 45-36 non-league loss to Williams Valley (Tower City, PA).
