Madison Southern Eagles (Berea, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY), 81-71 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Madison Southern upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Ridge Community (Davenport, FL) to play the Bolts in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Bolts come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Ridge Community won 48-47 in their recent non-league bout against St. Mary's (Lynn, MA)

Next up, the Maroons play the Seabreeze Sandcrabs (Daytona Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Pulaski County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Sandcrabs come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL).
