The West Essex Knights basketball team (North Caldwell, NJ), was nudged 62-55 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Newark Tech Terries (Newark, NJ)
The Terries now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barringer for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7.
The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Orange (Orange, NJ). The Tornadoes come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Orange edged Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ), 40-37, in a non-league battle.
