Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME), 66-61 in a league bout.

With the victory, Old Orchard Beach upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Seagulls host Seacoast Christian (South Berwick, ME) to play the Guardians in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Guardians come into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Saints play the Pine Tree Academy Breakers (Freeport, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. St. Dominic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
