Mississippi High School Basketball - Bay tipped by Petal

The Petal Panthers basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Bay Tigers to 33 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magee for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Petal will meet a Trojans team coming off a 52-42 non-league loss to St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.
The Tigers (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Parklane Academy (McComb, MS). The Pioneers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Parklane Academy nipped Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS), 54-45, in a non-league challenge.
