The Becton Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Wallington Panthers to 20 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyndhurst for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Becton will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 49-29 non-league win over North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ). The Golden Bears record now stands at 3-1.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Bergen Charter was routed by Cresskill (Cresskill, NJ), 51-7, in a non-league contest.
