With the win, Lake Linden-Hubbell upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Lakes host Ontonagon (Ontonagon, MI) to play the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Panthers play the Dollar Bay Bays (Dollar Bay, MI) in a Copper Mountain bout, on Monday, January 2. Chassell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Bays go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 48-42 non-league win over West Iron County (Iron River, MI).
