In Thursday's league outing, the Wisdom Pioneers (St. Agatha, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME), by a count of 55-28.

The Pioneers (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Crusaders go into the D North outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Van Buren was crushed by Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 53-26, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Washburn for a D North outing on Tuesday, December 27. Katahdin will clash with a Beavers squad coming off a 37-35 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, ME). The Beavers record now stands at 2-3.
