North Carolina High School Basketball - Lincolnton overwhelmed by Newton-Conover

The Newton-Conover Red Devils basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Lincolnton Wolves to 22 in the Red Devils league victory on Thursday.

The Red Devils now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bunker Hill for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Newton-Conover will battle a Bears team coming off a 56-45 non-league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Bears record now stands at 2-6.

The Wolves (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Stuart W. Cramer triumphed over Crest (Shelby, NC), 62-57, in a league contest.
