Red Jacket Indians (Shortsville, NY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Romulus Warriors (Romulus, NY), 40-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Red Jacket upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Dundee (Dundee, NY) to play the Scotsmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Scotsmen come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Warriors play the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Romulus will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 62-30 non-league loss to Clyde-Savannah (Clyde, NY).
