Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA), 40-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Washington Union upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Redwood (Visalia, CA) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 23. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Redwood lost 50-40 in their recent non-league bout against Dinuba (Dinuba, CA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Dinuba Emperors (Dinuba, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 23. Reedley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Emperors go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 50-40 non-league win over Redwood (Visalia, CA).
