Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), 67-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Waverly upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers host Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Gallia Academy lost 44-17 in their recent league bout against Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Thursday, January 5. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
