McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), 30-20 in a league bout.

With the win, McQueen upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to clash with the Cougars in a bout on Thursday, January 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Spanish Springs lost 37-27 in their recent league bout against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a bout, on Thursday, January 5. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 36-32 league win over Galena (Reno, NV).
