Nevada High School Basketball - Damonte Ranch nips Carson

Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 23-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Damonte Ranch upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Galena (Reno, NV) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Galena won 53-7 in their recent non-league bout against Dayton (Dayton, NV)

Next up, the Senators play the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 44-43 non-league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
