The North Lenoir Hawks basketball team (LaGrange, NC), dropped 56-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC)
The Panthers now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3. North Pitt will confront a Falcons team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 7-1.
The Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Southwest Onslow dropped by South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 38-32, in a non-league battle.
