New York High School Basketball - Academy of American Studies can't hold off Townsend Harris

The Townsend Harris Hawks basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Academy of American Studies Eagles to 58 in the Hawks league victory on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Luther for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Townsend Harris will battle a Cougars team coming off a 89-59 league loss to Knox (St. James, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Queens Tech (Long Island City, NY). The come into the PSAL AA Queens contest with a 1-4 record.
