The Bedford Buccaneers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Newton South Lions to 52 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlington for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Bedford will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 58-44 non-league loss to Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-3.
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Newton North (Newtonville, MA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Newton North nudged Wellesley (Wellesley, MA), 42-40, in a non-league contest.
