The Ellsworth Eagles basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Caribou Vikings to 56 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Presque Isle for a B North contest on Saturday, December 23. Ellsworth will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 36-32 league loss to Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
The Vikings (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Trojans enter the B North contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Mount Desert Island triumphed over Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME), 36-32, in a league contest.
