The Eastern Warriors (Sardinia, OH) basketball knocked off the host Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH), 48-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Georgetown (Georgetown, OH). The G-Men go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Georgetown went down by Tri-Village (New Madison, OH), 68-49, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Asheville for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Dawson-Bryant will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 70-47 non-league win over Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
