Edison Wildcats (Richmond, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southern Indians (Salineville, OH), 58-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edison upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Philo (Duncan Falls, OH) to play the Electrics in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Electrics go into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Indians play the Toronto Red Knights (Toronto, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 23. Southern will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Red Knights go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 50-32 non-league win over Wellsville (Wellsville, OH).
