Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), 63-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Prospect upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to play the Whip-Purs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Whip-Purs come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Hampshire lost 52-40 in their recent league bout against Central (Burlington, IL)

Next up, the Grenadiers play the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 23. Elk Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Fillies/Broncos come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 51-42 league win over Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL).
