The Lahainaluna Lunas (Lahaina, HI) basketball nipped the host King Kekaulike Na Ali'i (Pukalani, HI), 66-65 in Friday's league test.

The Lunas (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Kamehameha Maui (Pukalani, HI). The Warriors go into the Maui I test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Kamehameha Maui was tipped by Mililani (Mililani, HI), 43-37, in a non-league test.

The Na Ali'i now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kamehameha Maui for a Maui I test on Friday, December 29.
