Vermont High School Basketball - Missisquoi Valley can't hold off Lake Region

The Lake Region Rangers basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds to 35 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.
The Rangers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enosburg Falls for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Lake Region will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-32 league loss to Bellows Free Academy (Fairfax, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 0-5.
The Thunderbirds (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Winooski (Winooski, VT). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Winooski edged Milton (Milton, VT), 59-40, in a non-league contest.
