North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), 52-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Country Union upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Falcons host Spaulding (Barre, VT) to clash with the Crimson Tide in a Metro bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Crimson Tide go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Spaulding lost 67-40 in their recent non-league bout against Montpelier (Montpelier, VT)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the U-32 Raiders (Montpelier, VT) in a Capital bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Lyndon Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 70-54 non-league win over Middlebury (Middlebury, VT).
