McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY), 57-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McCracken County upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Charleston (Charleston, MO) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bluejays come into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Marshals play the Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Marshall County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 75-61 non-league win over St. Henry (Erlanger, KY).
