Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME), 36-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Mount Desert Island upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Caribou (Caribou, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a B North bout on Saturday, December 23. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Caribou lost 81-56 in their recent league bout against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) in a B North bout, on Saturday, December 23. Presque Isle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 81-56 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME).
