The Rice Memorial Green Knights basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the host Mt. Mansfield Cougars to 63 in the Green Knights league victory on Friday.

The Green Knights now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Burlington for a Metro contest on Wednesday, December 27. Rice Memorial will battle a Wolves team coming off a 68-44 non-league win over Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Wolves record now stands at 4-1.

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Redhawks come into the Metro contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Champlain Valley Union prevailed over Colchester (Colchester, VT), 63-48, in a league contest.
