West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), 78-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Stokes upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Galax (Galax, VA) to play the Maroon Tide in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Maroon Tide come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Vikings play the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. North Stokes will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Chiefs come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 84-81 non-league win over Morehead (Eden, NC).
