Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northampton Konkrete Kids (Northampton, PA), 62-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Parkland upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Eastside (Camden, NJ) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Eastside won 78-47 in their recent league bout against Seneca (Tabernacle, NJ)

Coming up next, the Konkrete Kids battle the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, December 28. Northampton will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 55-54 league loss to Easton Area (Easton, PA).
