Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host North Side Gators (Shelby, MS), 27-13 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cleveland Central upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Hernando (Hernando, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Hernando lost 68-56 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Mountain (Blue Mountain, MS)

Next up, the Gators play the Shaw Warriors (Shaw, MS) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. North Side will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 52-38 non-league win over West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS).
