The Deshler Tigers (Tuscumbia, AL) basketball nipped the host Wayne County Wildcats (Waynesboro, TN), 57-55 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Oxford was tipped by Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL), 63-50, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Providence School for a non-league test on Friday, December 29.
