North Carolina High School Basketball - Forbush overwhelms Lexington

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) and the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), saw Forbush's basketball squad wallop Lexington by a tally of 72-32.
With the victory, Forbush improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Oliver Springs won 37-34 in their recent league challenge against Jellico (Jellico, TN)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina challenge, on Friday, January 5. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
