With the victory, Mattanawcook improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Lynx host Dexter (Dexter, ME) to play the Tigers in a C North challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Dexter won 39-34 in their recent league challenge against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME)

Next up, the Eagles play the Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME) in a C North challenge, on Saturday, December 23. George Stevens Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 70-39 non-league win over Shead (Eastport, ME).
