Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE), 62-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waverly upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Norris (Firth, NE) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Norris won 54-26 in their recent non-league bout against Blair (Blair, NE)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Hastings will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 53-47 non-league win over York (York, NE).
