The James Buchanan Rockets basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Waynesboro Indians to 47 in the Rockets league victory on Friday.
The Rockets now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shippensburg for a Mid-Penn - Colonial contest on Wednesday, January 3. James Buchanan will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-5.
The Indians (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Seals come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Selinsgrove edged Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA), 43-28, in a non-league contest.
