Maine High School Basketball - Southern Aroostook trounces Katahdin

The Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) basketball crushed the host Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME), 63-23 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Pioneers go into the D North test with a 3-2 record.
The Cougars now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Fairfield for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Katahdin will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 61-16 non-league loss to Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
