Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles (Madison, MN), 47-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Yellow Medicine East upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Sting travel to Windom (Windom, MN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Windom lost 67-62 in their recent non-league bout against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN)
