Mississippi High School Basketball - Simmons overwhelms Leflore County

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Simmons Blue Devils (Hollandale, MS) and the visiting Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS), saw Simmons's basketball squad wallop Leflore County by a tally of 63-32.
With the victory, Simmons improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Shaw (Shaw, MS) to confront the Warriors in a 1A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Leflore County will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
