The Pleasant Spartans basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Marion Harding Presidents to 28 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buckeye Central for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Pleasant will battle a Bucks team coming off a 46-37 league loss to Seneca East (Attica, OH). The Bucks record now stands at 3-5.

The Presidents (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Madison Comprehensive was routed by Ashland (Ashland, OH), 53-30, in a league contest.
