The Monterey Trail Mustangs basketball team (Elk Grove, CA), was toppled 47-30 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA)

The Trojans now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antelope for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 23. Oak Ridge will confront a Titans team coming off a 56-48 non-league win over Caruthers (Caruthers, CA). The Titans record now stands at 5-3.

The Mustangs (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Lions come into the Metropolitan Conference battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, McClatchy was toppled by Clovis (Clovis, CA), 50-38, in a non-league battle.
