Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Star overwhelmed by Windber

December 22, 2023: Boswell, PA 15531

The North Star Cougars basketball team (Boswell, PA), was crushed 55-21 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA)

With the win, Windber upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Homer-Center lost 59-31 in their recent league bout against River Valley (Blairsville, PA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. North Star will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 67-27 league loss to Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA).
