In Friday's league outing, the Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), by a count of 52-17.

The Trojans (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 10-0 record.

The Pirates now hold a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Clayton-Ridge for a Upper Iowa outing on Tuesday, January 9.
