In Friday's non-league outing, the Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad edged the host Somerset Academy Losee Lions (North Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 38-32.

The Miners (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Southwest EC was tipped by Kearny (San Diego, CA), 54-48, in a non-league outing.
