The West Haven Blue Devils basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Wilbur Cross Governors to 20 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. West Haven will battle a Blue Dragons team coming off a 43-41 non-league win over Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 3-2.
The Governors (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets enter the Southern Connecticut - Quinnipiac contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Branford triumphed over Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT), 62-35, in a non-league contest.
