Georgia High School Basketball - Turner County fells Fitzgerald

Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA), 66-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Turner County upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Titans travel to Cook (Adel, GA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Cook won 49-42 in their recent non-league bout against Brooks County (Quitman, GA)

Next up, the Purple Hurricane clash with the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Fitzgerald will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 67-62 non-league loss to Macon County (Montezuma, GA).
