Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA) and the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA), saw Turner County's basketball squad knock off Fitzgerald by a count of 62-45.

With the victory, Turner County upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA) to play the Packers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Packers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Purple Hurricane play the Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Fitzgerald will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
