Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT), 40-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Burr & Burton upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Corinth (Corinth, NY) to clash with the Riverhawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Riverhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Corinth lost 57-52 in their recent league bout against Hadley Luzerne (Lake Luzerne, NY)

Next up, the Slaters clash with the Glens Falls Indians (Glens Falls, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Fair Haven will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 96-38 league win over Johnstown (Johnstown, NY).
