In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME), by a margin of 72-40.
The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record.
The Huskies now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Winslow for a B North outing on Thursday, December 28. Maine Central Institute will clash with a Black Raiders squad coming off a 47-36 non-league loss to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Black Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
