Maine High School Basketball - Penquis Valley ripped by Stearns

The Stearns Minutemen basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Penquis Valley Patriots to 24 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Minutemen now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Penobscot Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Stearns will battle a Howlers team coming off a 34-24 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Howlers record now stands at 1-4.
The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates enter the C North contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Piscataquis triumphed over Central (East Corinth, ME), 64-49, in a league contest.
